I’m in a bit of a dilemma and I really don’t know what to do. My girlfriǝnd told me that she has only slǝpt with one man before she met me, but some of her past behaviour has me questioning if that’s really the truth. She says she was defl0wered by her high school b0yfriend and they had lula lula only once.
I don’t want to accuse her of anything and I want to trust her, but I also don’t want to be naive and end up getting hurt. What should I do?

Dear Worried Young Man,
It’s important to trust your partner, but it’s also important to be realistic and honest with yourself.
While it’s possible that your girlfriǝnd is telling the truth, it’s also possible that she might not be. The best thing you can do is to have an open and honest conversation with her about your concerns. Ask her to be honest with you and assure her that you won’t judge or punish her for any past behaviour.
Remember, no one is perfect and everyone has a history. It’s up to you to decide whether or not you can trust your girlfriǝnd based on her actions and words. If you’re still unsure, it might be helpful to seek out the advice of a therapist or couples counsellor to help you work through your concerns and build a stronger, more honest relɑtionship.
