Constable Sibanda said he was attacked just after leaving a popular watering hole (bar) in the CBD. The thieves pounced on him, making off with the money that was in a satchel and the cellphone that was in his pocket.
According to Constable Sibanda, he had $2,000 U.S dollars in his satchel and his cellphone in his pocket. The thieves followed him shortly after he left the bar. He said the bar was new to him so he did not know its name.
