The Zimbabwe police have arrested three suspects accused of robbing and attacking a man at a business center. The incident occurred on June 3 at Hannavale Business Center in Figtree, Matabeleland South province.
The three suspects were identified as 30-year-old Collen Mvundla, 20-year-old Learnmore Ndlovu and 18-year-old Wilfred Nyathi.
According to police reports, the suspects attacked the victim with an okapi knife and logs before stealing $40 US dollars from him.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the arrest of the three suspects in a tweet, saying “Police in Figtree, Matabeleland South have arrested Collen Mvundla (30) Learnmore Ndlovu (20) and Wilfred Nyathi (18) in connection with a case of robbery which occurred on 03/06/23 at Hannavale Business Centre in which the complainant was attacked with an okapi knife and logs before US$40 was stolen. The arrest led to the recovery of an okapi knife.”
